Seventh generation review and giveaway

We LOVE Seventh Generation! I have been a fan of their products since the first chlorine free pack of disposable diapers we bought! When Oreo was born I hadn't really looked much into cloth diapering although I knew for a fact that the big name brand diapers were not going to touch my little mans bum. After reading all about the toxins and chlorine associated with regular disposable diapers Big D and I set out to find a better alternative. We came across Seventh generation products at our local whole foods market and fell in love with the seventh generation company as a whole. Their desire to better our world is so inspiring, and their products are worthy of great praise!

What we Reviewed: I was able to review a box filled with Seventh Generation goodies:

Natural Baby Starter Kit
Diapers
Disinfecting Multi-Surface
Disinfecting Bathroom
Disinfecting Wipes - 35 ct.
Baby Wipes Tub
Baby Wipes Refill
Baby Laundry Detergent
All Purpose Cleaner
Natural Paper Towels
Seventh Gen Recycled Bag

How we liked it: Lets start with the diapers. These have been my favorite diapers since the day we brought Oreo home. I love that their is no 'chemical' smell and they hold any mess, large or small, in where they belong! We still use these when we are away from home and I don't want the hassle of cloth diapering while away. All of the disinfecting products worked wonders on my kitchen, bathroom, and family room. It felt good knowing I wasn't harming any of my family members with harsh chemicals especially Oreo! We love the baby wipes just as much as we love the diapers. No problems with size or moisture, they get the job done for sure. Oreo had no issues with the detergent, even with his super sensitive skin. We don't usually keep paper towels in the house as I find it more economical and 'green' to just use a rag or sponge to clean up messes. The great thing about the Seventh Generation paper towels is that they are made from 100% recycled paper! I am a big advocate on decreasing the use of plastic bags and really enjoy taking my new Seventh Generation bag to the store! Stylish and functional! I can't recommend this company enough, definitely worth it to check them out.

Seventh Generation is committed to becoming the world's most trusted brand of authentic, safe, and environmentally-responsible products for a healthy home. For 20 years, the closely held Burlington, Vermont-based company has been at the forefront of a cultural change in consumer behavior and business ethics.
One of the country's first self-declared "socially responsible" companies, Seventh Generation is a business that operates according to a new and different set of principles and values that in many ways are a marked departure from those long considered "traditional." Its business practice is focused on offering people avenues to express their idealism, passion, and commitment to causes larger than themselves at every point along its supply chain—from suppliers and partners to shareholders, customers and its own staff.
The company derives its name from the Great Law of the Iroquois that states, "In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations." Every time you use a Seventh Generation product you are making a difference by saving natural resources, reducing pollution, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.
