This is only a short distance from where I live. Too close to home and a very sad situation. I thought I would post it here hoping maybe I could get more exposure outside of our area. Here is the story:

MORENCI, Mich. (WXYZ) - Police in Morenci, Michigan have issued an Amber Alert for three young brothers who are believed to be in extreme danger.
The boys' father, John Skelton, says he had plans to commit suicide, and didn't want the boys in the home at the time, so on Friday afternoon he sent them off with a woman he's been emailing back and forth for years now.
He told police her name was Joann Taylor. He said he met the woman and her husband a few years ago when they were stopped alongside the road with car trouble. After helping them, Skelton began emailing Joann.
Investigators tell Action News they have not been able to confirm or deny that Joann Taylor or her husband, Mark Taylor, exist.
Skelton is separated from his wife who has full custody of the children. He was allowed planned visits which is why the boys were in his home over the Thanksgiving holiday. Skelton claims Taylor was supposed to return the children to their mother, but never did.
Alexander William Skelton is 7 years-old, 3' 9, 45 pounds and has brown eyes, brown hair and a scar on his chin . Tanner Skelton is 5 years-old, 3' 6 with blue eyes and blonde hair. Andrew Skelton is 9 years-old, 4' with brown hair and brown eyes.
It's possible that Joann Taylor is from either Jackson or Hillsdale, Michigan and may drive a white or silver van. If you have any information on the whereabouts of the children or Joann Taylor, contact Morenci police immediately at (517) 263-0524.
John Skelton is currently in the hospital being treated for mental illness.
