Little L's Experience with Colic Calm
It was just another Thursday  of me and my little guy hanging out until daddy got home from work. When we heard a knock on the door I was of course covered in peanut butter and strawberry jam, as was little L too. So, like always I didn’t make it to the door in time. After about a ½ package of baby wipes little L and I made our way to the front door to see if maybe, just maybe it had arrived. I had been anticipating the arrival of my very first blog giveaway triumph. I never win anything, honest!  This one was something special, an all natural homeopathic infants supplement called Colic Calm.  The claim was that it could “restore peace & happiness to your home naturally.” Some claim! I was super excited to try it.
Little L was a very colicky baby, I can recall giving him baths at 2am to soothe his belly pains. Even now at 13 months he still has a hard time sleeping at night. I am up with him throughout the night, every night.  I had decided to wait until bedtime to try it out, hoping that maybe it will score me some actual sleep, after all, that is what their website claims. The con that was mentioned on Take Time To Smell the Rose was the fact that the product stains clothing, so I decided to give him his first dose during his bath that night. I gave him the ½ teaspoonful as directed on the bottle, and he sucked it down like a champ. It was hard to say if it was really working because the bath tub is the one place that guarantees the little guys happiness. Once dried and outta the tub daddy made the little man a bottle and we were ready to go. Usually once he’s sucked the whole thing down it takes about another 2 hours to get him to burp and then get him relaxed enough to get to sleep.  When little L had finished I began rocking him over my shoulder when he belched so loud that Big D came into his room to investigate! He never burps so easily! It wasn’t but 15 minutes later that I could feel his “I’m asleep”  dead weight in my arms. I had to creep into our room just to show Big D that he was already out. He did the quiet mouthing “Is he out already?” and I just pointed to the bottle of Colic Calm with the biggest grin on my face.
The final test…seeing if he sleeps more than two hours after I lay him down. I slowly placed him in his crib around 9:30 pm, keeping  my fingers crossed and kissing him goodnight. Then I snuggled into my own bed hoping that the Colic Calm wont let me down. I remember waking up around 4am and freaking out because little L never sleeps past midnight! Something had to be wrong. I rushed in his room to check on him, and there he was still sleeping. I had once again forgotten about giving him the Colic Calm. I couldn’t believe it worked, he slept until he heard Big D’s alarm clock at 6:30am. Amazing! This stuff is amazing and I recommend it to every mommy in the world! It is definitely worth the money!

It's so nice of you to share something that is really helpful for parents and babies as well. Colic is indeed a big struggle for parents to cope with. It's good to know that there are now natural remedies to help ease the pain. Thanks a lot.
