I've created a little bloggy makeover. Not bad for doing it all by myself?! I was considering hiring someone to jazz it up a bit but then decided I could probably figure it out on my own. If anyone is looking for pointers about anything that I did ask away, I'd love to share what I found with you all! Is there anything that you don't like about the new layout? I know it's loading a little slower, but hopefully not to the point that it will keep you from coming back! Let me know if it is, I want everyone to have an enjoyable experience when visitng, my blog just wouldn't be as great without you all here!

Baby Fever
I have baby fever.
Oh.
I have baby fever bad.
We went shopping at the mall today. The BIG mall that's about an hour away, which means lots and lots of people babies.
I was on a quest for a few different things. Some new clothes for the little man (always a must), a new coat for me (I really should show you the one I've been wearing this winter), and a book for Big D.
Simple enough.
Well the past few weeks, wait months, we've been wanting a new baby. Little L is now 17 months and Big D and I think it's time to get the ball rollin'.
Yes Big D too, his quote "we will have as many babies as it takes til I get my little girl"
So. Sweet.
BUT
Our wedding reception, my best friends wedding (I'm Matron of Honor) and our Honeymoon aren't until this summer so it just seems obvious that we would wait until after then.
Oh but those little babies, everywhere. Mommies strolling them through the busy mall crowds.
Little girls with their little girl clothes that cover every little baby store.
I find myself checking the price tags on little bitty baby clothes, little bitty baby girl clothes.
Yes. I want a girl. A sweet little ray of sunshine that will go shopping with me on rainy days, and share my love for Johnny Depp, not because of his acting skills but for his luscious locks.
*sigh*
On the bright side, I did find a new coat. Its Plum, very girly.
See.
Wee Little Changes- Tiny Tush Cloth Diaper Liners Review and Giveaway
Looking for a great store to purchase cloth diapers and accessories? I've found the perfect place! The customer service is great and her responses were always super fast! You can't beat the product selection and this will definitely be my first stop for anything I need that is baby related! We were happy to review the Tiny Tush cloth diaper liners from the Wee Little Changes boutique. I should mention that out of all our cloth diaper products this one was Big D's absolute favorite! He is pretty much a big fan of anything that makes the nasty task of cleaning poo easier!
These liners were super soft and really made clean-up a breeze. Keeping a toddler still for a diaper change is a task in itself, and when you are cleaning poo off a cloth diaper it really adds to the challenge. My only regret is that I didn't try these out sooner! We now have less staining and I don't have to soak my poopy diapers as long! We tried it overnight just to see how it would hold up, it didn't disintegrate or anything but it was all bunched up and smooshed, not something that could have been comfortable for the little man. Luckily he doesn't poo in the middle of the night, so we have no need for them at nighttime anyway. I am waiting for the day that I throw it in the wash on accident, I will let you all know how it holds up when I do!

About the Product:
These disposable diaper liners have a special dry-weave. They allow moisture to pass though the liner and into the diaper without permitting the wetness to seep back against your baby's skin. Your baby will feel drier and more comfortable.
The disposable diaper liner holds the solid waste to prevent soiling the diaper. Disposable diaper liners do not increase the absorbency of the diaper and are not to be confused with a diaper doubler. Tiny Tush disposable diaper liners are 100% biodegradable and are completely safe to flush without harming the environment, toilets or septic system (according to manufacturer).
There are 100 - 9"x 14" large sheets per package. You may want to cut these liners in half for newborn babies.

About The Company:
Hello and welcome to our shop! My family and I own and operate Wee Little Changes out of Wilmington, North Carolina. Being a SAHM has been so rewarding and I will be forever grateful for the time I have gotten to spend with my children.
The most important thing my family has taught me is how to just live simply and enjoy the little things in life. I think this quote captures it perfectly, “If you can spend a perfectly useless afternoon in a perfectly useless manner, you have learned how to live.” -Lyn Yutang. I hope when my children are grown, that they will be able to find joy in the little things life has to offer. A parent’s job never feels complete, but with each new day comes with it an opportunity to learn, grow and love more than the day before.
Wee Little Changes is dedicated to provide quality (and cute!) products that are good for your baby, the environment and your purse. I have done countless hours of research on all of our products, and each one has been tested by my family and found to be a winner. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way or if you have questions or comments. Thank you for the opportunity to help you and your family in some 'wee little way.'
Have a great day! - April

Chic To Cheek Cloth diaper Review and Giveaway!
Looking for an organic diaper? The feel of this diaper was so different from any that I have reviewed yet! We haven't tried this style of organic hemp and I really loved it! Little L's bum was super happy and there was absolutely no signs of redness. The only downfall was prepping the diaper, I had to wash it a few extra times so it could reach maximum absorbency...with us paying $2 a wash this really wasn't convenient for us at all! I am trying to steer towards all organic and natural products for the little guy though so I'd say the cost is worth it. The diaper is a bit pricey as well but the make and snaps of the diaper were great! I used it mostly overnight because I loved how much it didn't irritate any part of Little L's body. This is definitely not a starter diaper, I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner because it's really touchy! I dried it a little too long and on too high of a heat and it started to pill the fabric. You would think I'd be experienced enough but I wish I had waited until I tried a cheaper hemp diaper before tackling this great one! Big D didn't get a chance to change this diaper (he's been working mega overtime) but I'm sure he would have had trouble with the snaps! It didn't stain and the poo cleaned up great, even grape poo ;-)
T.M.I. I know.

Fits and functions from birth through potty training
This diaper is a unique, one-size, all in one cloth diaper. It combines the convenience of an all in one, with the versatility of an adjustable, one-size diaper. It's smart, intuitive design means you get a great diaper that will keep working from birth through potty training on most babies. The semi-attached soaker pad allows for complete adjustability - put the absorption where you need it! You do not need to stuff anything, or purchase additional inserts. This great organic diaper does not require a cover either! The inside and soaker of this diaper is made from certified organic hemp fleece. Hemp is wonderful for cloth diapers because of it's antimicrobial properties and the fact that it is grown without pesticides, while enriching the soil it's grown in. Hemp wears in, just like your favourite jeans. It gets softer and more absorbent as it's washed. Plus, it is a very strong, durable fiber which makes it ideal for this one-size diaper that is going to get washed a lot! Read more about how great hemp is here.
The 3 rows of snaps on the front of the diaper adjust to shorten the rise, making the diaper fit well on smaller babies. Plus, the top row can fold down again, creating an even smaller setting for new babies without placing too much bulk between their legs.
Please keep in mind that the same amount of fabric will be going on a 10 lb. baby as a 25 lb. baby, so there will be a little bulk when your baby is quite small. This diaper fits best on babies from 12 to 40 pounds.
Choose organic cloth diapers for an eco-friendly diapering option!
All cloth diapers and accessories from Chic to Cheek Boutique are hand-made, with careful attention to quality and workmanship (or workMOMship!). Our signature line, Sprout & Chickadee uses high-quality, natural organic fabrics and chooses local sources which focus on fair trade practices and socially-sustainable choices. We put high standards into every product to ensure you are satisfied with our products.
At Chic to Cheek Boutique, we like to think of cloth diapers as clothing for your baby's most delicate parts. Choosing organic is not only better for the environment, but it's healthier for your baby too. Our diapers are trim fitting, comfortable for your baby and completely organic!

Mother Ease Cloth Diaper Review
This was a fabulous overnight system, and for the price you really can't beat it. I would say that the sizes run a little big, Little L was unable to move much with the size Large on. However the diaper did hold a LOT of overnight pee! It took a really long time in the dryer which made this not a perfect diaper for us. For those mommy's who are searching for the perfect overnighter and have no problem with longer than normal dry times, then this is the diaper for you! I wouldn't recommend it to beginners though, Big D found it a little difficult to figure out the snap placement as wells "what piece goes where!" His exact words. Little L of course pooed in this one and we had no problem cleaning the diaper off and there was only a small hint of a stain left on it after washing the diaper in Eco Nuts. I want you all to keep in mind that this is only one style of diaper that they sell and I have not tried or reviewed any of their other styles! Here is some specific information about the diaper I reviewed. Plus you get ALL of this:

Katydid Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway!
This diaper here is a newbie! Not the type of newbie that you point and laugh at, but the kind that you invite to sit next to you in the cafeteria. I know, odd way to tell you that I really enjoyed my experience with this diaper. I'm trying to get more creative instead of boring you all!
This diaper had a few great features that I really loved. My very favorite was the "Wrap and Snap Feature" I am able to fold it up securely and into a really small package after Little L is done, which works great for having it as an "out and about" diaper! We had no leakage problems and the fit was great! I always seem to have a hard time matching snaps so if this diaper was changed to a Velcro tab closure I would be madly in love. I also really liked the pocket placement. After putting the insert into the pocket there is an overhanging tab that "closes" the pocket up and keeps only the soft micro-fleece touching baby's skin. I really like this because we seem to have inserts poking out of the top of Little L's jeans after he has been wearing a diaper for about 1/2 an hour. They just sort of wriggle their way up and out during his normal toddler wear. This wasn't something we had to worry about with this diaper. It dried well, washed well, and was easily scraped of poo. Big D didn't get any time with this diaper, but after he does I will definitely let you all know if it is daddy approved!

- BPA Free Items
- More Baby Products
- Specials
- Baby Gifts
- Made in USA
- New Arrivals
- Sale Items
- Top Sellers
- Gift Certificates
This is all sold with great customer service and prices! I couldn't believe how much we loved this diaper or how fast we received it. I am honestly considering selling my current stash to buy a stash made only of these diapers! Here is the quote from Big D "wow that held a lot of urine, I'm impressed." I must add that he usually doesn't notice these things, but when he realized how long it had been since we changed Little L (we were out and about for around 2.5 hours) he was shocked that Little L hadn't peed through his diaper and onto his clothes. This is our first snap and velcro combination diaper. I love love loved it! Not only did I like that it was not super confusing about what snap goes where, but the velcro was a flattened soft almost plastic feeling texture that didn't have rough or pointy spots that could irritate the little guys skin. I thought it would be less sticky but it actually stuck more! My only concern, well the concern of Big D (yes, he had major input on this exciting find!) was that the tag read "made in China." We really like to stick with American made products, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will let this one slide! The fit was nice and slim and the inserts were in a double layer but not sewn all the way together, this really helped it to dry faster. It had a mesh liner and was really soft to the touch. There isn't anything bad to say about the functionality of the diaper, and I hope every cloth diapering family gets to try at least one of these diapers out sometime soon!!

How does Gro Baby work?Gro Baby is designed so that the outer shells may be used for multiple diaper changes. If the soaker pad is wet, simply snap in a fresh one and you are ready to go. If the shell is wet, allow it to air dry and use for the next diaper change. When your Gro Baby Shell is soiled or very saturated, start fresh with a new Gro Baby Shell.
Most Gro Baby System users will find that using 2-4 Gro Baby Shells are enough per day, although newborn babies may need more.
How does the one-size feature on my Gro Baby work?
Gro Baby will fit MOST babies from 8-35 lbs. The Gro Baby Shell features three sets of rise snaps that adjust to fit your baby. Our unique one-size Organic Soaker Pad fits from 8-35 lbs as well.
- Newborn/Small Infant Setting: Snap your Gro Baby Shell rise snaps on the lowest setting. Snap your soaker pad into the shell and simply flip the front of the soaker pad in towards baby. Fastened diaper on baby.
- Infant Setting: Snap your Gro Baby Shell rise snaps on the middle setting. Snap your soaker pad into the shell. Tuck the front of your soaker pad down, while pulling the front panel up and fasten on baby.
- Toddler Setting: Leave your Gro Baby Shell rise snaps unsnapped. Snap your soaker pad into the shell and fasten on baby.

I remember the day
I remember the day I found myself.
A few months after ending what I thought was a true love, a few months before leaving college, and a few months after losing a best friend.
I sat alone.
My college had a hidden labyrinth in the woods behind the school and it was a great place to sit and ponder, collect and regain the wandering thoughts that whisked through my confused and tired collegiate mind. Which road would I take. I could no longer afford the path I was on, and the one I had laid out just wasn't where I wanted to go. I walked the labyrinth carefully and my tears fell before each stone laid out before my feet. I asked for a sign, I prayed for an answer, I needed to know that everything was going to be okay. I felt my road had ended and the signs were blurry. Do I stop, make a U-turn, or is this a dead end?! Just then the most gentle of all large creatures crept out from behind a small bush. I stopped and then made seemingly long eye contact with a deer. A beautiful majestic doe that in no way knew her significance of being where she was, when she was. I could have sat there for hours waiting for something so amazing to come my way, but I then began to understand that life brings us everything for a reason. The earth, the universe, mankind, it's all set up in a way that sets us in place. In time, for meaning. I knew who I was. Who I wanted to become. Free. Open. Educated. I quickly ran back to my dorm room and scribbled down my thoughts into a journal. It finally dawned on me that I was in control of my path. I was in control of who I am. Who I become and what I believe. The things that gracefully enter my life are there for a reason and I can embrace them or part ways. Since that day I've become me, of course I am still working on keeping my beliefs, my positive energy, and my own free will...but with time, it will be perfected.

Apple Cheeks Diaper Review and Giveaway
We love love loved this diaper! It was a super slim fit, very comparable to the fit of a disposable! It was snug around Little L's legs and back, which prevented any leakage from any sides. Another perk is that you don't have to take the insert out before throwing it into the wash, it comes out on its own! Big D was a huge fan of this one! It held up against Little L's teething diapers. If you don't know what I mean by that lets just say it held up during some major "duties." They come with great bamboo and hemp inserts that work wonderfully during the night and also during daytime. I'd have to say this diaper covered all of my major diaper issues! No elastic breakouts on Little L's legs, no bulky butt or leakage, and it was great during laundry care! Wow! Did I just find my perfect diaper?!

Fluffy's Diapers Review and Giveaway
I should have made this Etsy mom week! It's another great Etsy find. This one comes to us in the form of a diaper cover. A really ridiculously cute diaper cover.
We were provided an adorable PUL waterproof cloth diaper cover. It is made from Limited Edition colorful elephant polyester print custom laminated PUL. I should mention that Little L has this slight obsession with Elephants. It was so darn cute when he would walk around pointing at his diaper making that funny elephant sound with his lips! The background is light blue and it is bound in light blue fold over elastic. It has a snap closure with 2 rows of six snaps on each side. This is designed to work well with both fitted diapers and prefolds. I paired it with both our daytime and nighttime diapers and it didn't fail me either time! The main thing I look for when trying out a cover is if it leaves red markings on Little L's chubby thighs. Most diapers leave red marks on his super sensitive skin but this one didn't. A definite must for moms with sensitive babies. It was easy to get on and off Little L as well as easy to wash. I am hoping to talk this mommy into maybe creating a custom AIO for me ;-)
Straight from the Source:
Welcome to Fluffy's Diapers. We started cloth diapering when our second child was born. He has extremely sensitive skin and can not wear disposables. This got me thinking about what exactly is in those diapers that made it virtually impossible for my son to wear them without a very thick layer of what my daughter calls "heiny butter". I decided I didn't want to expose my children to all those harsh chemicals or help fill the landfills up any more. I tried a few brands of cloth out and took my favorite parts of each, created my own patterns, and Fluffy's Diapers was born. Was this product convenient: Yes

KandKsChubbyCheeks Review and Giveaway!
This is our super duper nighty diaper. I know I've professed my Etsy love already a few times, but I just can't help myself! You can't find better quality diapers than the ones with the extra homemade love thrown into the mix. This diaper is so super soft with its thick natural cotton sherpa that little L really loved against his itty bitty baby bum. I've been having problems with him waking up with a red bum but this diaper seems to have some sort of nighttime magic. The prints she has are TOO darn cute and it was really hard choosing just one. So of course I will be back for more (as if we need more diapers)! Don't tell Big D! It is filled with layers of absorbing goodness, but that means more time in the drier. Bummer. We never tried it as a daytime diaper, only because the bulk was too much to squeeze little L's pants over. We had snaps added, which I'm glad because they work best for nighttime usage. Velcro seems to stick to the little mans PJ's or somehow pull up during the night. He had no leakage problems and the poo came right off this fabric. Wonderful. Straight From The Source:
I am a WAHM to two wonderful children, Kayla and Kellen (K&K). And wife to a wonderful husband who is supporting my dream. After trying many cloth diapers with many different features, I decided to make a diaper with all the features that I love. Hidden snaps, soft colorful fabric, cute prints, cross over snaps, and one size. I have been sewing since I was a child and decided to use this skill to make beautiful squishy diapers.
Was this diaper convenient: No-too big to fit in the diaper bag
